Game 2: Leafs 3 Jets 1 post-game recap

Post-game from the Jets dressing room as well as from Coach Maurice.

No Laine, no DeMelo meant no bueno for the Jets in Toronto this evening as they dropped their first game of the first road trip of the season to the Leafs by a final score of 3-1.  This moves the Jets to 1-1-0 on the season.

2016 1st rounder Logan Stanley made his NHL debut.

Derek Forbort has eclipsed his points total from last season in just two games this season with the Jets. He had one assist in 20 games in 2019/20 with the Kings/Flames.

Kyle Connor has a two game goal streak going to start the season.  Going back to last year he has nine goals in his last 10 regular season games.

Second game in a row that Mark Scheifele played over 26 minutes.
