Coach Maurice: Thoughts today after last night’s win. On the play of Jacob Trouba. Any insight into his goalie tomorrow? Did he notice anything in Laine’s demeanour today? Did he have to have a discussion with Laine about responsibility playing on top line? How would he assess where the Jets are with 1/4 of the season left? Anything jump to mind for him with respect to Shane Doan’s jersey retirement ceremony tomorrow? Status of Wheeler and Kulikov? Any news on Byfuglien?

Health Update:
Coach Maurice was asked about the status of Dustin Byfuglien “He’s progressing. We think he gets on the ice next week. We thought from injury its a two to three week thing now, after the last set of tests. So positive moving forward.” Asked for clarification of the timeline the Jets bench boss added “So he’s in week one. Just coming up on the end of week one. When we go back home, when we get him back on the ice that would be week two. So then we’re probably in a week or two from that.” And he added that 33 has not been skating (during the first week).
Starter vs Coyotes:
Coach Maurice confirms that Lauren Brossoit will start in net vs Arizona.
