Winnipeg Jets reduce 2018-19 training camp by 15 players

Jets make another round of cuts.

After completing all their pre-season games with last night’s 5-3 loss to the Devils the Jets knew that today would be a day off and also a day to get the roster down to a more manageable number.  They were at 52 to start camp (well technically 51 because Josh Morrissey hadn’t yet signed) and have made two previous cuts of three players to junior and six to the Moose.

Today the Jets re-assigned the following 10 players to the Moose:

G – Mikhail Berdin
G – Eric Comrie
D – Sami Niku
D – Nelson Nogier
D – Peter Stoykewych
F – Mason Appleton
F – Jansen Harkins
F – Skyler McKenzie
F – Kristian Reichel
F – CJ Suess

The following five players will be assigned to the Moose, pending waivers:

D – Cam Schilling
F – Dennis Everberg
F – Seth Griffith
F – Nic Kerdiles
F – JC Lipon

The training camp roster is down to 27 players (16 forwards, 9 defencemen and 2 goalies).
