Jets news:

Winnipeg Sun:  Appleton works on his shot.  Important to be able to recognize your limitations and then turn them into strengths.

Winnipeg Sun:  Risk paid off for Jets prospect Samberg.  The Minnesotan still sounds like he is in shell shock from the draft but is sponging up whatever he can glean from the Development Camp the Jets have been holding this week.

Winnipeg Free Press:  Prospects focus on hard work.  (Paywall).  Plenty happening at Jets Development Camp and Mike brings you up to speed.

Winnipeg Free Press:  Jets could take shot at goalie Steve Mason.  (Paywall).  They were taking shots on him last season but lots of talk these days about him finding a home between the Jets pipes.

Illegal Curve:  Moose assistant coach Mark Morrison heading to NHL with the Ducks.  He has been with the organization for six years but he will be heading to California to act in the same capacity with Anaheim that he held with Manitoba.
