Some Jets talk from Friedman and Marek on the 32 Thoughts Podcast. Said that he got wind of something on Thursday night but on Friday morning was told “it’s not guaranteed it’s Jets yet”. He thinks there was another team that wanted him and that Sean Monahan wanted to speak to Winnipeg to ensure the fit was good.
Friedman questioned whether Monahan can handle the 2C role on a Stanley Cup contender. Went on to discuss the arms race for a centre with other contenders.
