The Moose and Admirals took their best of five series from Manitoba where it was tied 1-1 after two games to the state of Wisconsin for the final three games of the series. Last game the home team won in a comeback as they forced OT with a late, last minute goal and then won it early in extra time. It was their first ever overtime game since coming back to Winnipeg.

Goalie Oskari Salminen was back in net for game 3 after a big game 2 victory on Sunday evened the series. Only changewas Dean Stewart drawing in for Simon Lundmark. Otherwise same lineup for Manitoba this evening in Milwaukee.

The visitors opened the scoring early in the 1st period as leading scorer Alex Limoges took a Cole Maier pass, made a nifty move to score his first of the playoffs which really set the tone for Manitoba.
Creating chaos in front of Admirals netminder Yaroslav Askarov has been the playbook of the Moose and it worked in the middle frame as Jeff Malott got his first of the playoffs from his office in front to make it 2-1.

The Moose had plenty of chances in the 3rd to take the lead including this one, this one, this one and this one.
Whomever wins this series between the Moose and Admirals now know their opponent as the Texas Stars swept the Rockford Icehogs in the other Central series.
Wyatt Bongiovanni was the OT hero with this power play goal and the Moose win it to take a 2-1 series lead over the Admirals.
