February 25, 2018 – Manitoba Moose vs. Chicago Wolves
Following a 2-0 win by the Moose yesterday they were back in action facing the Wolves in a re-match. Today was retro day and it began with a good old fashion chat between the two teams during pre-game warm up.

Game notes:
1st
– Not much happening in the opening frame;
– Teemu Pulkkinen with a nice tip gave the Wolves an early lead.
2nd
– Moose gave up a shorthanded goal to give the visitors a 2-0 lead;
– A few minutes later the Wolves added to their lead with a power play goal;
– Late in the period Brendan Lemieux got one back for the home side to make it 3-1;
– It was Lemieux’s 16th goal of the season with assists to Buddy Robinson & Mike Sgarbossa.
3rd
– Brendan Lemieux picked up his second goal of the game (17th) just as a Moose power play expired;
– However the two goal deficit was short lived as Teemu Pulkkinen scored his second of the game to make it 5-2;
– Moose just couldn’t generate much and
– Brendan Lemieux doing some post-whistle chirping gets a ten minute misconduct.
Moose fall to 34-15-4-3.
