Winnipeg Jets winger Nikolaj Ehlers skating

There have been lots of question marks surrounding the status of Nikolaj Ehlers.

The Jets winger has not skating with his teammates since April 12th in Chicago when he re-aggravated an injury when he clipped skates with a linesman.

But today as we gathered at hockey for all centre for Jets practice with the focus on Gabriel Vilardi‘s imminent return none other than number 27 was skating with strength and conditioning coach Jake Wolff.

And he was moving around quite well so a big sign for him and the Jets who are in a battle with the Blues.

Update:

Jets coach Scott Arniel indicated Ehlers will be in a yellow, non-contact jersey tomorrow at practice. Arniel said that Ehlers snuck out in a regular jersey today.
