Winnipeg Jets winger Gabe Vilardi resumed skating today

Jets fans were hopeful last week that seeing Gabe Vilardi on the road trip meant he was close to returning to play. However we learned from associate coach Scott Arniel that he wasn’t gonna be skating with the team during the eight days being away from Manitoba.

The injury occurred on October 17th and the prognosis at the time was 4-6 weeks.

Today following morning skate associate coach Scott Arniel provided an update saying that Vilardi skated today on his own.

He indicated they were waiting on a brace which he got yesterday and skated for the first time today.
