The focus is obviously on Mark Scheifele right now after the Jets top goal scorer crashed into the boards and did not return to the game. Rick Bowness said at the airport that he spoke to Scheifele and that “he is feeling better than he did last night. He is definitely on the day-to-day and let’s put him in the hopeful category for Thursday.”
He added that Nikolaj Ehlers will skate with the team tomorrow and “we’ll see where he is”.
Last up was goalie David Rittich who is dealing with a “lower-body thing”. Bowness said they’ll see tomorrow if he’s able to skate or not….we won’t have an answer on that till tomorrow.”. As a result they are bringing Arvid Holm with them on the road.
