Winnipeg Jets Transaction Report: Two moves made ahead of game vs Canucks

Jets added two players from the taxi squad ahead of tonight’s game against the Canucks.

It will be the first recall to the big club for 2017 5th rounder Leon Gawanke who is having a bounce back season for the Moose and was leading the team in scoring for a bit. He has 19 points (5G 14A) in 32 games. Last season he had 7 points (1G 6A) in 26 games.

As well they have recalled hard-working Kristian Reichel who has played five games for the Jets this season which includes his first NHL goal.

Likely just insurance moves made ahead of the game against Vancouver.
