Winnipeg Jets Transaction Report: One move made (on emergency basis) ahead of re-match with Canucks

In their re-match with the Canucks the Jets are gonna see what a player from their taxi squad can do as head coach Paul Maurice indicated today during his media availability that he will be inserting Dominic Toninato into the lineup this evening.  Toninato dealt with injury to start the season and then spent the majority of time with the taxi squad although he did get three games in with the Moose at the AHL level in late April.

In those three games he scored three goals playing alongside Jets 2020 1st rounder Cole Perfetti who had all three primary assists.

This will be the first NHL game for Toninato since he played in the bubble last summer for the Florida Panthers back on August 7th and his first regular season game since March 7th.

Jets Taxi Squad: Eric Comrie, Kristian Vesalainen, Marko Dano and Joona Luoto.
