Winnipeg Jets Transaction Report: Nathan Beaulieu placed on IR & Logan Stanley recalled from taxi squad

We knew on Wednesday that Nathan Beaulieu would be placed on IR after coach Maurice advised the veteran defenceman would be out weeks with an upper-body injury.

The biggest question was who would replace him in the lineup?  Would it be Sami Niku, who is already on the 23-man roster or Logan Stanley who was on the taxi squad?

Today JetsPR announced that Stanley had been recalled from the taxi squad.

This moves makes it seem likely that Stanley will be getting back into a game for the first time in almost a month (February 13th).
