Winnipeg Jets Transaction Report: Kristian Vesalainen reassigned from Moose to taxi squad

Jets 2017 1st rounder Kristian Vesalainen has been clicking down on the farm as he gets more and more comfortable with the AHL club.  In six games with the Moose he has one goal and four assists and he has been shooting the puck more. After taking just a single shot in each of his first couple of games he had 12 in the last pair for Manitoba.

It isn’t a surprise the Jets made this move which fills up their taxi squad ahead of their five game road trip out east.

Taxi squad: Kristian Vesalainen, Joona Luoto, Nelson Nogier, Dominic Toninato, Eric Comrie and Ville Heinola.

Working hard on a daily basis to provide the latest Winnipeg Jets and Manitoba Moose news for our readers and listeners. I also appear on the Illegal Curve Hockey Show every Saturday on our YouTube channel as well as the Illegal Curve Post-Game Show after every single Jets game. And I occasionally jump in the play-by-play booth at Canada Life to provide colour analysis during Manitoba Moose games.
