Winnipeg Jets Transaction Report: Johnny Kovacevic reassigned to the Moose

The Jets got Logan Stanley back in the fold yesterday and were without Neal Pionk until today as he is now eligible to return to Canada. It means they have 23 on the roster and required them to make a move which they did by reassigning 2017 3rd rounder Johnny Kovacevic back to the Moose.

The Grimsby, Ontario product played his first four NHL games for the Jets and looked more and more comfortable each game.

The big, mobile right-shot defenceman will be a welcome addition to a Moose club who has hit a bit of a slide going 1-3-0-0 in their last four games. Manitoba kicks off eight straight in Winnipeg starting on Sunday with an afternoon game against Milwaukee.
