Winnipeg Jets Transaction Report: Johnny Kovacevic and Kristian Reichel reassigned to taxi squad

The Jets are set to hit the ice this morning following their fifth straight loss (0-3-2) last night. The club announced a pair of moves as they have reassigned Johnny Kovacevic and Kristian Reichel from the NHL team to their taxi squad.

The undrafted Reichel, who earned himself a two-year NHL deal in 2020, has played five games for Winnipeg this season which included a goal.

Yesterday was Kovacevic’s first ever recall up to the big club and it appeared that the Jets 2017 3rd rounder could get his first NHL game but despite taking warm up skate he was a scratch in the game.
