Winnipeg Jets Transaction Report: Five players come out of NHL’s COVID-19 protocols

The Jets covid situation the last week has had heads spinning.  As of the last game on Thursday in Detroit they had eight players and goalie coach Wade Flaherty in protocol.

The big question today ahead of practice is who could they have back?  There seemed like a possibility to get five of the eight player back today aside from Stastny (13th) and Dillon/Comrie (13th).

According to Ken Wiebe of Sportsnet a number of players are out of protocol and back on the ice for the Jets this morning including Nikolaj Ehlers, Kristian Reichel, Logan Stanley, Nathan Beaulieu and Ville Heinola.

Which means the Jets covid protocol number is down to three players (Paul Stastny, Brenden Dillon and Eric Comrie) as well as goalie coach Wade Flaherty.
