Dylan Samberg and CJ Suess were both dealing with injury while with the Jets but have been skating with the team for a bit. Samberg has been out since January 25th while Suess last played on January 13th. As the taxi squad is a thing of the past once they got healthy they’d have to be sent back to the AHL due to roster size limits.
Today the Jets announced they have reassigned the pair to the Manitoba Moose.
This will really bolster the Moose roster as it gives them an incredibly strong D group and adds another versatile forward to the mix.
Samberg played his first six NHL games while Suess played in three so far this season.
