Today the Jets announced they have activated him from LTIR and reassigned him to the Manitoba Moose.
This is good news for David Gustafsson and good news for the Manitoba Moose who need an infusion of scoring. It is good for Gustafsson as he has played two periods of hockey since mid December (grand total of 4:56 of ice time) and this will allow him to get his skating legs back under him.
Manitoba takes on Milwaukee on Sunday in the first of nine straight games in Winnipeg.
Recap of the game.
