Winnipeg Jets Transaction Report: David Gustafsson activated from LTIR and reassigned to the Moose

It was clear when he transitioned to a regular jersey that David Gustafsson was getting close to a return from an injury that has kept him sidelined since January 2nd in a game against Vegas.

Today the Jets announced they have activated him from LTIR and reassigned him to the Manitoba Moose.

This is good news for David Gustafsson and good news for the Manitoba Moose who need an infusion of scoring. It is good for Gustafsson as he has played two periods of hockey since mid December (grand total of 4:56 of ice time) and this will allow him to get his skating legs back under him.

Manitoba takes on Milwaukee on Sunday in the first of nine straight games in Winnipeg.
