The playing group hit the ice last night at Canada Life Centre for the first hockey game in Winnipeg in front of over 14,000 Manitobans in 18 months as they kicked off the preseason with a 3-2 overtime/shootout loss.

Group 1:

G: Mikhail Berdin and Connor Hellebuyck

D: Dylan DeMelo, Josh Morrissey, Declan Chisholm, Tyrel Bauer, Nelson Nogier, Leon Gawanke and Nate Schmidt.

F: Adam Lowry, Paul Stastny, Blake Wheeler, Jeff Malott, Luke Johnson, Evan Poleri, Haralds Egle, Mark Scheifele, Kyle Connor, Kristian Reichel and Kristian Vesalainen

Group 2:

G: Eric Comrie, Philippe Desrosiers and Arvid Holm.

D: Neal Pionk, Brenden Dillon, Ville Heinola, Nathan Beaulieu, Simon Lundmark, Dmitri Kuzmin, Logan Stanley and Johnny Kovacevic.

F: Andrew Copp, Jansen Harkins, David Gustafsson, Riley Nash, Dominic Toninato, Austin Poganski, Nikolaj Ehlers, Evgeny Svechnikov, CJ Suess, Pierre-Luc Dubois and Cole Perfetti.
