Third straight day hitting the ice at the IcePlex for group 1 for Jets training camp but today they are doing it in a much more condensed fashion.
According to Ken Wiebe of Sportsnet a number of players aren’t present which means they will likely be shifted to the larger group 2. Not on the ice this morning includes: Bourque, Perreault, Shore, Appleton, Beaulieu, Poolman and Comrie.
This leaves just a few players in the first group including:
F: Harkins, Shaw, Suess, Gustafsson and Letestu
D: Dahlstrom and Niku.
The interesting news is that it would appear with the shifting of Eric Comrie to group 1 that Laurent Brossoit could end up missing his third straight day of practice. The Jets photo gallery showed him on the ice on Sunday but with the NHL’s cone of silence around players health do not expect an update today on the Jets backup.
