Jets fans will finally be able to experience the thrill (and cold) of an outdoor hockey game at IG Field as Mark Chipman, chairman of True North Sports & Entertainment confirmed to Gary Lawless of the Winnipeg Free Press yesterday at the Board of Governors meetings in California.

Back in March of this year when Gary wrote about the Jets landing a Heritage Classic it was mentioned that the game would likely be in late February or early March.
