Winnipeg Jets to host Carolina Hurricanes in home opener

The Jets pre-season schedule was released last week and today we find out that the Jets will open the season against the Carolina Hurricanes on October  13th.

They will then depart Friendly Manitoba for Minnesota Nice to open the Wild season at home on the 15th.  Unfortunately for Jets fans the Vikings aren’t playing that week in Minnesota, the Timberwolves schedule isn’t out and the Twins will not be playing any October baseball if you’re planning a road trip.
