Notable:
Winger Mason Appleton with 3G 6A for 9 points in 11 games for the Jets. Not too shabby when you consider he had 16 points in 41 games last season.
Appleton is also tied for top spot on the Jets in scoring alongside Mark Scheifele, Kyle Connor and Nino Niederreiter.
Nino Niederreiter with the first Jets hat trick of the season (and second of his career).
With the assist Josh Morrissey got on the fifth Jets goal he now has 250 points (57G 193A) in his career.
It was the first ever multi goal game for Brenden Dillon who scored his first goal in 31 games.
Asked folks on the show and on twitter this question: Would you rather see Brenden Dillon get the hat trick or Nino Niederreiter get his fourth and win someone 100K? Folks on the show were feeling generous as they wanted someone to get the cash.
Multi Point Game:
Nino Niederreiter 3G
Brenden Dillon 2G 1A
Adam Lowry 2A
Mason Appleton 2A
