The Jets tie their second round series with the Stars with a complete 60 minute effort. Great start, the PP scored one early, contributions across the board.

Notable:
We talked on the pre-game show about the Jets need to have a quick start and for Nikolaj Ehlers/Gabriel Vilardi to be impactful. Within seven minutes of puck drop both those things had taken place.
The Jets got off to a good start boosted by a double minor by Tyler Seguin when he caught Josh Morrissey in the face just 17 seconds into the frame drawing blood and giving the power play a chance early to have an impact. They did when Nikolaj Ehlers fired a puck almost scoring and then Gabriel Vilardi buried his first of the playoffs to make it 1-0.
Do not play pool with Nikolaj Ehlers. He’s clearly a shark. He made it 2-0 Jets with this bank shot. That was big. Especially since 27 needed a big game tonight.
The captain Adam Lowry made it 3-0 with a huge tally in the middle frame. Give him four goals in the playoffs.
I’m no physics major but that wasn’t a small amount of force necessary to knock the captain into the Jets bench.
You’re gonna be hearing the MVP chants cause Connor Hellebuyck made a ridiculous save…..Dear Mama. Also Josh Morrissey with a big assist to knock it away from danger.
And then a few minutes he made another incredible save.
It was a ho hum 3rd but Nikolaj Ehlers did manage to find the back of the empty Stars net from about 190 feet away.
