Winnipeg Jets sign Zach Bogosian to 7 year deal

The Winnipeg Jets and Zach Bogosian avoided arbitration when they agreed on a new deal today.

The terms of the deal were as follows:

Duration: 7 years
Cap Hit (AAV per season):  $5.14 million
Total:  $36 million.

Richard did his analysis back in May on what he anticipated both sides compromising on and he projected it as follows:

Duration: Six years
Cap Hit (AAV per season): $5.5 million
Total: $33.00 million
