Winnipeg Jets sign Vladislav Namestnikov to a two-year deal

Versatile forward Vladislav Namestnikov fit in quite nicely with the Jets after he was acquired at the Trade Deadline and TSN is reporting that he is coming back to Winnipeg on a two-year deal worth 2 million per season.

The Russian forward who has spent half his life here in North America was acquired by Winnipeg in a trade with San Jose for a 4th round pick in 2024 after the Sharks had traded with the Lighting to acquire him.

He had two goals and eight assists for 10 points in 20 games with Winnipeg. Seemed to have good chemistry with Nikolaj Ehlers so we shall see if that continues next season.
