In the past couple of days the Winnipeg Jets have completed some house keeping as they continue to sign their prospects and add depth to the organization.
On Wednesday they signed Brenden Kichton most recently of the Spokane Chiefs of the WHL to a three year, entry level deal. Kichton was selected by Winnipeg at the 2013 NHL Entry draft in New Jersey in the 7th round. He had 85 points (22G, 63A) in 71 games last season and was originally drafted by the New York Islanders in the 5th round of the 2011 draft. The AAV of the deal is $620,000.00.
He took to twitter (B_Kichton8) to express his excitement at signing his first contract:
Thanks for all the congrats! Very excited to have signed my first contract with the @NHLJets ! Ready to get started on a great year! #Jets

Today the Jets announced another signing as they came to terms with J.C. Lipon who last season played with the Kamloops Blazers of the WHL. Lipon was picked by the Jets in the 3rd round. He had 89 points (36G, 53A) in 61 games last season. The AAV of the deal is $700,000.00.
Of course as most people do when they are excited, they take to twitter to share the news and JC Lipon (Jgator34) shared this with his followers:
