Winnipeg Jets sign Trevor Lewis to a one-year deal

The Jets brought veteran NHLer Trevor Lewis, who has two Stanley Cup rings with the Kings, to training camp on a PTO.  The Utah born forward has now turned that into a one-year deal with Winnipeg with an average annual value of $750,000.

Lewis didn’t skate the first few days of camp but made a good impression at the first scrimmage last week with the Jets and obviously during the rest of camp.  He’s been skating on the 4th line during camp along with Nate Thompson and Mathieu Perreault as the Dirty 30s line.
