Winnipeg Jets sign Tanner Pearson to a one-year contract

The Jets have added a former OHL teammate of Mark Scheifele as they have signed Tanner Pearson to a one-year deal worth 1 million according to Darren Dreger of TSN. Last year with the Golden Knights he had 12 goals 15 assists for 27 points in 78 games.

The Ontario product was drafted by the Kings where he played for five+ seasons before ending up on the Penguins and Canucks during the 2018-19 season. He’d spend four seasons in Vancouver before moving on to Montreal and then last year in Vegas.
