Winnipeg Jets sign RFA Morgan Barron to a two-year contract

Another of the Jets RFA can be struck off the list as Winnipeg and Morgan Barron have agreed to a new contract which will see the Halifax product signed to a two-year deal with an AAV of 1.85 million as per Elliotte Friedman. Getting it done now was important as it allows the two sides to avoid arbitration.

This is the third deal he’s signed with the Jets as he’s coming off a two-year contract with a 1.3 million dollar cap hit.

The 6’4 forward played some centre this season which gave Winnipeg another option at that important position.
