No member of the Class of 2015 took a bigger step forward this past season than Jansen Harkins. He started the season with the Manitoba Moose, putting up seven goals and 24 assists in the team’s first 30 games. He was recalled by the Jets in late December and made his NHL regular season debut on December 21, 2019 against the Minnesota Wild, registering an assist in the game.
Harkins stayed up with the big club for the rest of the season and scored two goals and five assists in 29 regular season games as well as scoring in his first career NHL postseason game against the Calgary Flames.
