Winnipeg Jets sign RFA forward Rasmus Kupari to a two-year contract

When the Jets dealt Pierre-Luc Dubois for Gabe Vilardi, Alex Iafallo and Rasmus Kupari the biggest unknown was the Finnish centre. Kupari has played 130 games in the NHL for the Kings after they drafted him 20th overall at the 2018 Draft in Dallas. He has nine goals and 20 assists during his time in Los Angeles.

Of course he came to Winnipeg as an RFA needing a new contract and that’s just what he got today as it was confirmed he’s signed a two-year deal with the Jets with an AAV of 1 million.

He will have a good shot to help try to forge an identity for a bottom six that has largely been without one for the last number of years.
