The Jets and RFA Morgan Barron avoid arbitration with the team announcing the parties have agreed to a two-year contract with an average annual value of $1,350,000. The two sides were set to go to arbitration on August 2nd.

Last year was his first full season in the NHL as he played 70 games for Winnipeg scoring eight goals while adding 13 assists. His most memorable moment from the 2022-23 season came for him in the playoffs when he took a skate blade to the face in Vegas and required 50+ stitches before he was able to return to the game.
He’s played 102 games in his NHL career including 84 with the Jets and 18 with the Rangers.
He's closing in on his first game since January 13th.
