Winnipeg Jets sign RFA Ben Chiarot to a two-year extension

A report surfaced last night from Renaud Lavoie of TVA Sports that the Jets had signed the 26 year old Chiarot to a two-year deal worth 2.8 million dollars.  In 59 games for the Jets this past season he had two goals and 10 assists.

It comes almost two years after he signed his last two-year contract with Winnipeg.
