Winnipeg Jets sign Matt Halischuk

The news broke when fans checked the Jets roster on WinnipegJets.com and noticed a new addition to the roster listed on the site.

– Matt Halischuk, plays right wing and has 54 points (25 goals, 29 assists) in 154 career NHL games.

– His best year, statistically, was 2011-12, when he registered 15 goals, & 13 assists in 73 games with the Nashville Predators.

– Was originally drafted by the New Jersey Devils in the 4th round of the 2007 Draft, #117 overall.
