Winnipeg Jets sign Matt Halischuk to a one-year, two-way contract

The Winnipeg Jets announced that they have re-signed UFA forward Matt Halischuk to a one-year, two-way contract worth $725,000 at the NHL level.

 

 

Halischuk, 26 years old, spent last season with the Jets, tallying 10 points (5 goals, 5 assists) in 46 games.

With his signing taken into account, the Jets now have 23 players under NHL contract (13 forwards, 8 defenseman and 2 goaltenders), and approximately $8.5 million dollars in salary cap space available.
