Winnipeg Jets sign Matt Fraser to a one year, two-way contract

According to Gary Lawless of the Winnipeg Free Press the Jets have signed Red Deer, Alberta native Matt Fraser to a one year deal worth $650,000.00 at NHL level and $325,000.00 in the AHL.

Fraser is a left shooting right winger (listed at 6’1 and 204 lbs) who spent last season with both the Boston Bruins and Edmonton Oilers finishing the 2014-15 season with eight goals and four assists in 60 games between the two teams.

Here is an article from the Edmonton Journal on how Fraser was no longer in the Oilers game plan.
