Jets added some depth to the organization’s roster as they signed Logan Shaw to a one-year, two-way deal. Shaw has been playing with the San Diego Gulls of the AHL. Here is a good piece on the newest forward that Sportsnet did just a couple of days ago.
Frank Seravalli of TSN, who broke the news of the signing, indicated that Shaw will be put on waivers. The Moose are currently in Texas as they get ready to play four games on the road.
Update: Logan Shaw has cleared waivers and has been assigned to the Manitoba Moose.

The Winnipeg Jets announced today they have agreed to terms with forward Logan Shaw to a one-year, two-way contract worth an average annual value of $675,000 in the NHL.
Shaw, 26, has played seven games for the San Diego Gulls of the AHL this season and has five points (2G, 3A) and six penalty minutes. The native of Glace Bay, N.S. has played for three different NHL teams, including 72 games between Anaheim and Montreal in 2017-18 when he had 14 points (4G, 10A) and 12 PIMs. Shaw has played 180 career NHL games for the Canadiens, Ducks, and Panthers and has 31 points (12G, 19A) and 35 PIMs and he also played in 12 playoff games. He has also played for four different AHL teams since turning pro in 2013-14 and has played in 156 games and recorded 58 points (31G, 27A) and 61 PIMs.
Shaw was originally drafted by the Florida Panthers in the third round (76th overall) in the 2011 NHL Draft.
