Winnipeg Jets sign left-shooting defenceman Brian Strait to a one-way deal

Just before we speak to Jets GM Kevin Cheveldayoff news broke that Winnipeg has added left shooting defenceman Brian Strait to the roster.  It is a one way, one year deal for an AAV of $600,000.00.  Last season Strait played 51 games with the Islanders finishing with one goal and five assists.
