Winnipeg Jets sign Laurent Brossoit to a one-year deal

The Jets are brining back former Winnipeg goalie and current Stanley Cup champion Laurent Brossoit on a one-year deal according to TSN. It is worth 1.75 million for the 2023-24 season.

He spent three seasons with Winnipeg from 2018-19 to 2020-21 before he left for Vegas where he spent the past two seasons. The BC product was limited to 11 games with the Golden Knights in 2022-23 but did go 7-0-3 with a 2.17 GAA and a .927 save%. He also went 8-0 in the Stanley Cup Playoffs, including helping to defeat Winnipeg, before he was injured in the next series against Edmonton.
