Winnipeg Jets sign Kristian Reichel to a two-year extension

Kristian Reichel worked his way up to an two year ELC which he signed in June of 2020 with the Jets after signing AHL deals with the Moose as an undrafted free agent who had attended a bunch of the Jets development camps when he was playing in the WHL.

This season he was able to make his NHL debut and score his first goal in the NHL. In total he has two points (1G 1A) in 13 games for Winnipeg.

The folks at Cap Friendly are reporting he’s been signed to a two-year, two-way extension by the Jets. Terms are:

2022-23: $750 base + $25k SB / $150k minor
2023-24: $775k base / $175k minor

A good reward for a player who works hard on his game.
