Looks like the Jets will be bringing him back after all.

The Winnipeg Jets today announced they have agreed to terms with defenceman Keaton Ellerby on a one-year, two way contract worth $700,000.
Ellerby, 25, played in 51 games with the Winnipeg Jets last season recording six points (2G, 4A) and two penalty minutes. The Strathmore, AB native was acquired by the Jets early last season claimed off of waivers from the Los Angeles Kings on Nov. 2/13. In his NHL career, he’s played in 211 games for Florida, Los Angeles, and Winnipeg collecting 26 points (4G, 22A) and 88 penalty minutes. He’s also played in 150 career AHL games with the Rochester Americans recording 47 points (11G, 36A) and 86 penalty minutes.
He was originally drafted by the Florida Panthers in the first round, 10th overall, in the 2007 NHL Entry Draft.
