Winnipeg Jets sign goalie Oskari Salminen to a two-year, entry-level contract

Many Jets fans and media are typing in the name Oskari Salminen into google after the Jets just announced that they have signed the Finnish netminder to a two-year ELC.

He is an undrafted goalie from Kotka, Finland.

Also move over Mikhail Berdin cause Oskari Salminen would like to have a word with you…

He spent this past season with Jukurit Mikkeli in Liiga where he played 55 games (.920 save % & a 2.07 GAA) and as per the Release by Winnipeg he was coached by former Jets forward Olli Jokinen.
