The Winnipeg Jets are pleased to announce they have agreed to terms with goaltender Eric Comrie on a three-year, two-way, entry level contract with an average annual value of $925,000.
Comrie, 18, has played in 30 games with the Tri-City Americans of the WHL so far this season. In that time, the Newport Beach, CA native has earned a 14-13-3 record, 2.52 goals against average and 0.923 save percentage. He has played in 98 career WHL games, all with the Americans, for a 53-33-8 career record.
He was originally drafted by the Winnipeg Jets in the second round, 59th overall, in the 2013 NHL Entry Draft,
