News this morning is the Jets have signed their 5th round (130th overall) 2012 draft pick to a three year entry level deal.

The Winnipeg Jets are pleased to announce they have agreed to terms with goaltender Connor Hellebuyck on a three-year, two-way, entry level contract with an average annual value of $925,000.
Hellebuyck, 20, has played in 29 games with University of Massachusetts-Lowell this season earning a 18-9-2 record, 1.79 goals against average and 0.941 save percentage. Over three seasons with the University of Massachusetts-Lowell, the Commerce, MI native has played in 106 games with the club for a 64-23-7 overall record. Last month, Hellebuyck earned league honors for goalie of the Month. Hellebuyck went 5-3-0 in eight starts in March leading the River Hawks to their second consecutive Hockey East Tournament Championship with back-to-back shutouts at the TD Garden and an appearance the Northeast Regional Final against Boston College. For the second consecutive tournament, Hellebuyck took home MVP honors, becoming the first player to ever win the award twice. He was also named a First-Team Hockey East All-Star for the 2013-14 season.
He was drafted by the Winnipeg Jets in the fifth round, 130th overall, in the 2012 NHL Draft.
