Winnipeg Jets sign Brandon Tanev to a one-year, one-way contract

Jets get the forward inked to a one-year deal.

Jets Release:

The Winnipeg Jets announced they have agreed to terms with forward Brandon Tanev on a one-year, one-way contract with an average annual value of $700,000.

Tanev, 25, played in 51 games for the Jets last season and had four points (2G, 2A) and 26 penalty minutes. He also played in 23 games for the AHL’s Manitoba Moose last season and had nine points (2G, 7A) and 13 PIMs. Tanev was an undrafted free agent, who signed with the Jets organization on March 30, 2016, following four years with Providence College.
