Winnipeg Jets sign Ashton Sautner to a one-year, two-way contract

The first signing of the offseason is a Manitoba product as Flin Flon’s Ashton Sautner has a one-year, two-way contract with the Jets.

He played 68 games for the Moose last season and it was clear he enjoyed his time in the organization and city. He scored two goals and added 10 assists last season.

In his end of season media availability (watch here) following the conclusion of the 2022-23 season, he spoke about what it meant to return to Manitoba, his takeaways from being in Winnipeg, his own development this season, the approach of the team, consistency of his play and more.
