The Winnipeg Jets are pleased to announce they have agreed to terms with unrestricted free agent defenceman Adam Pardy on a one year contract for $1 million.
Pardy, 31, played in 55 games last season with the Jets where he collected nine assists and 40 penalty minutes. He also appeared in two playoff games last year scoring his first goal as a Winnipeg Jet. The native of Bonavista, NL has played in 315 career NHL games with Winnipeg, Calgary, Dallas, and Buffalo over seven seasons where he scored 48 points (4G,44A) and collected 249 penalty minutes. Pardy was originally drafted by the Flames in the sixth round, 173rd overall in the 2004 NHL Entry Draft.
It's been a solid season of development for the Jets prospect.
