Winnipeg Jets rookie Patrik Laine leaves game in Buffalo during 3rd period

With 14:13 left in the 3rd Sabres defenceman Jack McCabe leveled Jets rookie Patrik Laine with an open ice hit.  It forced Laine from the game as he was down onthe ice for a few minutes and was then helped off.

After the game coach Maurice didn’t have an update on Laine’s status.  According to Jeff Hamilton of the Winnipeg Free Press he saw Patrik Laine walking to the bus under his own power.  Here is video from Jeff of Laine leaving on his own:
